Some people say the lowest cost businesses to startup are consultancies or personal services. Since, as they point out, you are selling your skills and your time, and therefore start-up costs can be very low.
That may be true for traditional so called brick and mortar businesses, but it is my belief that that the lowest cost startup business is that of Affiliate Marketing.
All you need is a website or other method of driving traffic to the sales site of someone else with a product or service to sell.
